Spots can be eliminated by special means during local cleaning. From time to time it should be dried, if you think that the product is heavier and it has become worse to warm. To do this, it is dried in the sun, not taking out of the duvet or separately, but no longer under direct sunlight.  You can't store silk in vacuum packs for a long time, this material should breathe. You can also harm the blanket if you put heavy things on it when you're in storage.

The price of silk blankets can vary considerably. This is because the filler of such blankets can be different. There is a "tousa" filler, which is made from a cheaper variety of silk. It is wild silk, which is produced by silkworms in natural habitats. In nature, such silk often has a dark brown hue, so for such a material use dense non-translucent covers.

Often, to whitening silk "tussa" chemicals are used, after exposure it becomes white or light yellow color. However, chemicals can negatively affect the structure of silk, which leads to the loss of its properties.

Another type of silk is the "Mulberry" material, which is produced by mulberry silkworms. It is not exposed to any effects that can worsen its characteristics as a filler for blankets. Products from this type of silk are created by hand. This, of course, affects their cost - the price of such blankets is much higher than the products of the silk "tussa" variety.
